Fonts vs. Typefaces
Before you can combine fonts like a pro, it's important to know the difference between fonts and typefaces. A font refers to a specific letter design. For example, the default font for Google Docs is Arial, and for Microsoft Word it is Calibri. In these font styles, you can customize the Arial or Calibri font to 12-point italic, bold, underline, etc. In other words, the characteristics of the font can be changed within the font style.

What is a watermark? We'll answer that question, explain why you should use it, and show you an extremely easy way to add a watermark to your work. Many sites use it to protect images.

A watermark is a logo, company name, signature, or other design that is primarily used to prove ownership of an image, document, etc. You typically see watermarks in one of two ways: in a mosaic pattern, or in the bottom right corner of the image .

Watermarks are slightly transparent in their design, so they will never be so intrusive that they prevent others from viewing your work. If you regularly produce and sell photographs (especially online), protect your work with a watermark.
